Classroom Resources:
- I use Schoology for students to submit quizzes, tests, and papers for a paperless effort to run my class and for extensions and deadlines on assignments. Schoology will also be for grading and TAC (Teacher Access Center) for grades (HAC is the Home Access Center) for final or interim grades.
- All my classes also need a Noredink account. Noredink (No red ink) is a great resource to help with grammar, punctuation, and formatting. These are grammar quizzes that are due towards the end of each semester.
- My classes also use NewsELA accounts for nonfiction readings and CommonLit for nonfiction and fiction pieces. NewsELA is a great resource for students to be exposed to non-fiction and real trending news or issues, just like material on future state tests, like MCAP.
